About Danielle
Reaching out for support takes courage, and I am so proud of you for taking this first step! You don’t have to do this alone. Finding the right therapist is about building a relationship where you feel truly heard and safe. Having walked my own healing journey, I understand firsthand the importance of feeling seen, respected, and supported in counselling. I bring with me over 15 years of experience supporting community members in addressing mental health, healing, and growth.
Together, we can focus on concerns such as anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and the impacts of systemic racism or workplace stress. My approach blends trauma-informed care, Afrocentric insights, attachment-focused understanding, and a strengths-based framework to meet you where you are.
Whether you are working through past hurts or navigating present-day challenges, I strive to be a therapist who is warm, transparent, and genuinely present. Using CBT, Narrative Therapy, DBT, and mindfulness practices, I take a holistic approach that honours all parts of who you are, helping you nurture and protect your peace.
